To bring focused relief to the families of Belle Harbor
To raise funds for and purchase the supplies needed by Belle Harbor families in the wake of Hurricane Sandy
To raise additional funds for local non profit organizations
To coordinate volunteer efforts in distributing meals, supplies, labor and relief to the families of Belle Harbor

Many NYers have been affected by Sandy; most of us were really just inconvenienced. But some of us were devastated - folks like our now friends in Belle Harbor. We've been amazed their positivity and creativity. It is strange that even when you are in dire need that you have to make it easy for others to help you, but in some ways you do - and they did. We knew that our energies were being met and that what we donated would be immediately put to great use by people who were some of the hardest hit by this tragedy.
